Italy’s 2026-2028 Flow Decree (Decreto Flussi) is the biggest legal worker intake
in Europe right now — a three-year plan of 497,550 entry quotas for non-EU workers.
For 2026 alone, Italy has authorized 164,850 work permits.

How the 2026 quota is divided

• 88,000 seasonal workers (agriculture, tourism, hospitality)

• A reserved quota of 25,000 visas for citizens of 38 priority partner countries

How the process works

1. The ITALIAN EMPLOYER (or a licensed staffing agency) files the application
   (nulla osta) during the official “click day” windows. Workers cannot apply
   by themselves — no agent can “sell” you a quota slot.
2. Once approved, the worker applies for a national work visa at the Italian
   embassy/consulate — from Bangladesh, or from a country where he legally
   resides (e.g. Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia with a valid permit).
3. After arrival, the residence permit (permesso di soggiorno) is issued and
   renewed; after 5 years of continuous legal stay, permanent residency is possible.

Sectors with real demand for Bangladeshi workers: construction, agriculture,
hotel & restaurant, warehouse/logistics and food processing.

Scam warning for 2026

• Anyone promising a “guaranteed Decreto Flussi visa” against advance payment
  is a fraud — only employers file the quota application.
